Congratulations to Steve Matusz for winning this year's AT&T Excellence in Teaching with Technology Award from MSU Information Technology for his innovative use of technology in teaching Intermediate Microeconomics (EC 301)! The award letter says
"The selection committee consisting of experts in digital learning felt that your entry exemplified excellence in teaching and learning with technology. They appreciated your well-designed, interactive and exploratory approach to microeconomics, and found your approach worthy of recognition."
This is a wonderful honor and well deserved. Steve has been a leader in our department in incorporating technology into the classroom in innovative ways. Many of us know of countless times we've discussed with Steve about how he brings cool new idea into his classroom like interactive computer programs he coded up using AI to add dynamism to economic concepts. So it is really great to see Steve's hard work for our students being recognized.
Steve will be recognized at the Student Success Summit on May 7th in Broad Audiitorium.
Congratulations, Steve, on this well deserved recognition!
