John B. Whitledge

John B. Whitledge

John B. Whitledge, A native of Detroit, John B. Whitledge graduated from Michigan State University in 1967 with a BA in Economics, and in 1970 with an MBA in Marketing from Western Michigan University.  He earned the designation of Certified Investment Management Analyst, CIMA®, from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.  He has held industry securities registrations for 16 years and is subject to SEC and FINRA oversight.

John is Managing Director and Senior Institutional Consultant of Independent Portfolio Consultants, Inc. (IPC).  IPC provides services  to advisers of wealth management firms and their high net worth and institutional clients, including investment policy, asset allocation and risk management, tax efficiency, performance measurement, due diligence, manager selection, and trust and estate management.  IPC is a $2B RIA based in Boca Raton, FL, with services provided nationwide and internationally.

John resides in Boca Raton. His three children reside in Southern California, and he is now the grandfather of eight, with a set of twin grandchildren on the way.
